They're currently looking for 2 postdocs to join the Functional Neuroepigenomics Group here at Mt Sinai.

As you know, a lot of what we do involves applying next gen sequencing approaches (ATACseq, RNAseq, ChIPseq, WES etc) to address questions about normal brain function and neuropsychiatric disease (schizophrenia, Alzheimer's etc). We have access to thousands of frozen human postmortem brain samples.

They're looking for a bioinformatician and a wet lab person.

The job descriptions are obviously written with a fantasy candidate in mind so we'd encourage anyone to apply who's interested and who feels the work outlined in the job description is within their ability. In particular, for the wet lab position, their priority would be a strong background in molecular biology - most other things can be learned on the job.

If you know anyone who's interested please have them send their CV either to me (john.fullard@mssm.edu) or directly to Panos (panagiotis.roussos@mssm.edu).
